"Too
often we underestimate the power of a touch, a
smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest

ELDER-CARE OPTIONS FROM NANNYQUEST, INC.
Many of our clients have reached that stage of
life where they are becoming an overloaded
caregiver. While they are still raising
their children, the health of their parents is
failing, calling for increased care and
sometimes stress beyond handling.
There is an affordable solution that can give
you more time, relieve the stress, and provide
loving, happy care for those you love.
We have been helping families by
providing pre-screened, capable, friendly
elder-care companions and caregivers. This is a
special type of person who loves to help and has
the energy to be actively involved in the older
person's life, taking them shopping, visiting,
to appointments, keeping their minds
active and engaged, and cooking healthy,
nutritious meals. One of our older clients even
became computer-literate, thanks to her
caregiver. It's not surprising
that NannyQuest, the nation's top provider of
college-educated nannies, would branch out into
other areas of family care. We hope to use our
life experience to help those who are traveling
on the road behind us, and provide solutions to
lighten their load.
For many families, the caregiver has become a
part of the family and stays on board for many
years. Take a look at some of our current
caregiver candidates below, and if you are
feeling torn between two generations, call us
for a consultation. Help is out there.

I NEED HELP!
No matter what you need, we can help you by
finding the right PEOPLE to make your life
easier. During the past year we have
helped our clients with NANNIES, HOUSEKEEPERS,
CHEFS, ELDER-CARE, OFFICE HELP and EXECUTIVE
ASSISTANTS. All of this can be less
expensive than you might expect. When you
have the right help, it frees you to get more
done, and you are able to get it all done more
efficiently, giving you more time for what is
really important...family. "If we don't
have it, we'll find it" has worked well for us
AND for our clients!
As always, if you are not in need of household
help at this time, please forward this email to
associates and friends who are looking for
college-educated nannies, experienced
housekeepers, personal assistants, baby
specialists, or any other type of household
help.

TAX NEWS FROM BREEDLOVE & ASSOCIATES
HIRE Act
The HIRE Act (Hiring Incentives to Restore
Employment) will reduce the cost for families
who hire a qualified worker(s) after February 3,
2010 (a qualified worker is defined as anyone
who has worked 40 hours or less in the 60 days
preceding employment).
Those families who hire a qualified worker(s)
will be entitled to an exemption on the employer
portion of the Social Security tax. The
6.2% exemption applies to all wages paid in 2010
between the dates of March 19 and December 31.
Note: Employers will still be required to pay
Medicare (1.45%) as well as Unemployment and any
other applicable state taxes, but the HIRE Act
will reduce the employer's payroll tax
obligation by more than 60%.
Logistically, families will need to get their
new employee to sign an affidavit stating that
he/she has been unemployed or underemployed per
the HIRE Act qualifications. Families will
then be required to report the New Hire and
deduct the Employer Social Security Tax from
their estimated federal payments throughout the
rest of the year. Obviously, those
families who join our service can rest assured
that we will take care of all these details on
their behalf.
If you have any questions about the new law,
please contact us. In the meantime, we'll
be updating our Payroll Calculator at
www.breedlove-online.com in the
coming days. As always, we also stand
ready to provide each of your families with a
complimentary, no-obligation consultation to
discuss this and other tax, legal and budgeting
issues that may affect them.
