THREE GREAT WAYS TO SAVE MONEY (AND TIME) WITH HOUSEHOLD HELP

#1, #2, and #3:  COMBINE SERVICES

  For example:

     1. Do you spend so much time on the road with the children that you are thinking of buying a

chauffeur's cap?  Do you drive to swimming lessons, tennis lessons, French lessons, piano lessons,

sports practice, and arrive home too tired to think about dinner?  Your NannyQuest nanny can

be your extra set of hands, wheels, and sous chefs!  Our nannies can often BE the piano teacher,

swim coach and tennis coach, as well as the tutor, the personal assistant and more.

     2.  Is your house disorganized, grocery list unfulfilled or non-existent, refrigerator bare, and calendar

in need of help?  Our nannies and home managers can morph into personal assistants, errand-

runners, grocery-shoppers, and organizers.  If your house needs deep-cleaning on a regular basis,

we have detail-oriented housekeepers who can quickly make your home spotless and keep it that

            way.

     3.  Think you are past the "nanny stage?"  Time for a home manager or a housekeeper.  Many of our

domestic candidates can also run errands, do light childcare, and put a hot meal on the table so

that your family can sit down together at the end of a busy day.

LET US HELP YOU. Take the first step: email or call NannyQuest, Inc.  We have nannies who love to cook, nannies who can help with tutoring, nannies with special needs experience, and nannies who can organize, pay bills, and make your life generally easier. We have housekeepers, home managers, chefs and estate managers who can combine their jobs with a myriad of other tasks.

Make NannyQuest your "One Stop Convenience Center." By letting us help you combine some or all of the above, you will save time AND money. Think of all the ways you can use that extra time!  Click here to start:  I NEED HELP!

As always, if you are not in need at this time, please FORWARD (see "Forward" button at the end of the letter) this page to friends who may be looking for an educated nanny, experienced housekeeper, or other household help.

KIDS' CRAFT for JANUARY

ICE GLOBES

(A great science tool and perfect for this weather!)

You will need:
Round balloons

Water

Votive candles

This is a great activity that teaches science fundamentals (liquids, solids, temperature differences) and the end-product is beautiful!  Make several to use as luminaries on the front porch!

  • Stretch balloon over kitchen sink faucet, filling it to at least 8" in diameter.
  • Put balloon in a plastic bowl so that it stands up, and place in freezer overnight.  If the weather turns really cool, you can just put it outside!
  • In the morning (or after at least 8 hours) take balloon out of freezer.  The water on the outermost parts will be frozen, while the inner part has remained liquid. Cut the balloon and remove.
  • Pour out  water from the middle of the balloon, leaving a hollow cavity.  Insert a votive candle and light it.

*Arlette ~ Arlette is one of those rare finds...she enjoys cleaning AND she  loves children.  Arlette's dream job would be to help with daily tasks around the house and be able to spend time with the children.  Arlette speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese.  She enjoys pitching in and doing whatever is needed.
